Job Summary


  • Are you an experienced HR Personnelwho understands how to manage people, processes and workplace operations effectively?
  • We are looking for a proactive, organised and experienced Human Resources Personnelto join our team and take responsibility for a broad range of HR functions across the organisation.
  • The ideal candidate should be confident handling both people and processes, and have the ability to work independently while partnering effectively with Management and employees.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing the full employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding to exit.
  • Handling recruitment, screening, interviews, selection and onboarding of employees.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
  • Managing employee files, contracts, biodata, guarantor/reference documentation and other employment records.
  • Ensuring HR documentation and processes are completed within stipulated timelines.
  • Managing attendance, lateness, absenteeism, leave and general employee records.
  • Administering leave requests and maintaining accurate leave records.
  • Supporting payroll preparation and ensuring employee information is accurately captured.
  • Managing employee relations and addressing workplace concerns appropriately.
  • Advising Management and employees on HR policies, procedures and employment-related matters.
  • Implementing and enforcing company policies and procedures.
  • Handling disciplinary matters, warnings, queries and other employee conduct issues in line with company procedures.
  • Supporting performance management, appraisals and employee development initiatives.
  • Identifying training needs and coordinating training and development programmes.
  • Supporting staff engagement, welfare and employee experience initiatives.
  • Monitoring employee compliance with company rules, policies and workplace standards.
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable employment laws and statutory HR requirements.
  • Ensuring a professional, productive and accountable workplace culture.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree/HND in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, Management or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant HR experience.
  • Good knowledge of Nigerian employment practices and applicable labour regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Strong report writing, documentation and communication skills.
  • Experience with HRIS/payroll systems is an added advantage.
  • • Prevous experience in the construction or real estate industry is an added advantage.
